Appleby, East Allington, Devon

This lovely 2 bedroom home has been completely refurbished and remodelled by the present owner and offers bright and spacious accommodation.

The house is entered via a pretty front garden into a roomy entrance hall with guest WC. The open plan double aspect living room has a stylish electric fire and a very large under stairs storage cupboard. A glazed door leads through to a fully fitted contemporary kitchen which also has glazed doors through to the conservatory, currently being used as a dining room. The conservatory is a fantastic room and takes you directly onto the garden. Upstairs there are 2 large double bedrooms and a large bathroom with bath and electric shower over.

There is a very pretty front garden with an apple tree and a path that leads to the front door and gate to rear garden. The well maintained rear garden is raised to provide a sun terrace which is mostly laid to gravel with mature, easy to keep, flower beds. A gate takes you to the parking space as well as the large single rear garage which has power supplied.

East Allington is in the heart of the South Hams and is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside. This friendly village has a community shop, a great pub, village hall, 13th century church, Primary School and a childrens playground. The bustling estuary market town of Kingsbridge with its supermarkets, shops and bistros is approx. 3 miles away, whilst the coast at Slapton Sands is only a short drive away.

From Totnes take the A381 towards Dartmouth. Going through Harbertonford and Halwell, pass the BP petrol station then take the sharp left turn signposted East Allington and follow the signs. On entering the village, follow the road round to the left, passing the bus stop, towards The Fortescue Arms and the Church, and you will find Appleby on the left.
