Set above sandy Portwrinkle Beach, 5 Guillemot will be finished to a very high standard and designed to make the best of the panoramic sea views. This quiet cove is in an idyllic setting and offers coastal living at its best.
Number 5 Guillemot is due to be completed by Easter 2020 and has accommodation over 3 floors with a large terrace off the main living area as well as a balcony accessed from the master bedroom. Being south facing this home is flooded with light which accentuates the spacious living accommodation.
The ground floor is accessed via a large hallway with storage cupboard. There is a double bedroom and bathroom on this floor. On the first floor there is a large Kitchen/Diner with a large window offering sea views. Doors open onto a very spacious separate living room with glazed doors onto a terrace with spectacular sea views.
On the second floor there is a large double bedroom with en suite bathroom, which benefits from double height ceilings and wonderful views over the sea. There are steps up to a galleried area which would be perfect for a home office or as an extra sleeping area. A further huge bedroom with ensuite bathroom has glazed doors onto a balcony and also has lovely sea views. Externally there is a double car port with space for a storage unit.
The Rame Peninsula is totally unspoilt and quite unique and is sometimes referred to as Cornwall’s ‘forgotten corner’ with its winding lanes, small villages and pretty coves. Portwrinkle was traditionally a fishing village and the old 17th century walls of the pilchard cellars are still standing. The village has a small harbour with two beaches and a Beach Caf serving traditional Cornish fare. In nearby Crafthole, a short walk up the hill there is a community shop, post office and the Finnygook Inn which serves locally sourced produce and ale. The area is particularly attractive to those who enjoy the outdoors and Whitsand Bay links golf course is literally on your doorstep which has some challenging holes overlooking the Atlantic coastline.
If youre in need of a little culture, there is approx. a five minute drive to Torpoint with a short ferry crossing into the city of Plymouth. Also the Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, an 800 acre area of coastal woodland and open hillsides, possibly one of the most beautiful and varied locations in Cornwall is only 8 miles distant.
All the Guillemot houses are available with full residential use. So whether its surfing the swell, a cappuccino and the Sunday papers at the Beach Cafe or a round of golf followed by a pint at the local, the choice is yours.
